We’re committed to achieving our goal of zero waste generation through continued improvement in all of our operations. (Roger Milliken) Milliken Walk Off® Mats recognizes its responsibilities as a major manufacturer and has in place a number of initiatives to minimize the impact of its production and other operations on the environment. The company is committed to a goal of zero waste generation to land, air and water. This goal is a key focus in our manufacturing operations and is at the forefront of our thinking in the development of new products. Recycling of materials is an integral part of this ongoing effort. In 1997, Milliken USA received the ISO 14001 environment certification. To receive and maintain this certification, it is a precondition that the company is able to document continuous environmental improvements such as reducing water and energy consumption, re-using raw materials, and minimizing waste. Likewise, our products do not contain non-biodegradable substances, such as metallic dyes.
